Entertaining mystery series with a pastor of a Catholic parish in Chicago aided by a nun
Fr. Dowling Mysteries is a TV series first airing in late 1980s and up thru 1990 or so. I watched it weekly when it was on. I could identify with it because I am Catholic. The characters are most engaging and they seem to get involved each week with some sort of a mystery that usually gets the local police involved. It's a good family type show, perhaps PG 13 in some episodes.
