The video quality fo the DVD is nto quite right...
I didn't answer the above questions about the "art" of the movie (entertainment value, characters, etc.) -- I'm not a movie critic (don't care) so I'm only addressing here the "mechanics" of the DVD...how it was recorded on/to the DVD... The video has "lines" in it whenever there's motion/action, as it's not smooth and clear as I was expecting. I don't know if the DVD was coded poorly, with a less-than-adequate codec or what, but even ripping the DVD to an MKV file still shows serious "lines" in movement and only go away when there is NOT movement. So while the DVD is of higher video quality than other copies I've seen, I'm not sure how it was coded (codec used) and if THAT would account for the less than high-quality video. It MIGHT look better played from a TV set (haven't done that yet), but on my PC, the "lines" (kind of like "hatch-marks" if you will) I'm talking about are VERY evident during motion/movement of the characters.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
