This tower-style fan and heater makes it possible to adjust the temperature in just about any room of your home or office quickly and easily without having to adjust the thermostat of your location's heating or central air conditioning. One of the most notable features of the Dyson AM09 Hot+Cool Jet Focus Fan Heater is how safe it is to use. As a tower fan and heater, it has no spinning blades or exposed heating elements, which means it is completely safe to have in homes with young children and pets. In addition, if the device is tipped over, it shuts off automatically. The Dyson AM09 projects cooled or heated air in a wide arc, with the coverage extending to as much as 90 degrees from either side of the device. In heat mode, it delivers even room heating in a matter of moments while the fan offers efficient cooling. The temperature settings range from 33 degrees Fahrenheit to 99 degrees Fahrenheit. Air Multiplier technology provides cooled or heated air to a specific spot using the surrounding air to provide the high-velocity airflow. A remote control allows users to control the device from across the room and it stores on the fan itself when not in use. Its smooth oscillation action delivers direct airflow quietly. It features a sleep timer that allows it to be programmed to turn on or off at preset times and can run for as little as 15 minutes or as long as nine hours. No cooling
This product is not worth the exorbitant price tag, I'm glad I purchased this item refurbished rather than new and even then the price tag is quite high. I purchased this fan to get a small boost of cooling in my room at night. I wasn't expecting this to act as an ac but I expected more of a cooling effect- this fan is not cooling and does no more than a regular fan. Pretty impressed
I decided to treat myself to this heater on cyber monday; I did get a good deal on it. I plugged it in and hoped for the best. This heater warmed my small cabin (600 square feet) perfectly and comfortably, and also evenly; even wafting into the bedroom, all night long. I then moved it into my Old Hickory shed (only 10 x 12, but no insulation), and it had it plenty warm enough to work in in a couple of hours. Well worth the price.
This Dyson is my first. It really does what it's suppose to do. I use mine in a large RV. It works very well. The remote features are awesome. The price is a refection to the quality of this product. Lightweight with great features
The Dyson Hot-Cool Fan Heater is a great product. We are using it in our front room and it heats the area with no problem. Once it reaches the temperature the unit shuts off and comes back on when it is needed. Great product, fair price
The dyson is very quiet on low speeds but does make some noise on level 10, but no where near a traditional fan. I haven't tried the heating feature as it is summer here and quite hot. It smells a little metallic when you first use it for a couple hours but goes away quickly. It looks really cool, I have it sitting on my dresser.
