    Good budget tablet

I ordered two of these. They shipped within a few days. They both had screen protectors, but were bubbly (one in a small section on the corner and the other from the bottom left corner covering about a quarter of the screen). There is a little bit of backlight bleed when viewing near 180* view angle. For normal use you won’t notice the bleed. A little slow on a few apps, but overall good. The speakers are okay, not great but clear and audible. Battery life is pretty good. I’ve used mine for about a week (moderate use) without charge. My girlfriend used hers for about 3 days before needing charge (moderate-heavy use). Overall a good budget tablet. Fits my needs. 4/5 stars.

  • Top critical review

If you need portability--buy a laptop instead!

The only tablet I've ever owned, so I might be too harsh on my review. Maybe all tablets are disappointing, slow, and annoying, whether for occasional or frequent use. Even though the specs are comparable to others on the market, it has gotten slower and slower as I've added applications. I finally had to perform a factory reset just to get it to some kind of usability.out of it. Also, sometimes it would power down by itself if it hafn't been used for a while, even though the battery is near full. The reset has corrected most of these problems, and I've avoided putting any information whatsoever back on it so that it is not completely useless (although, of course, this limits its usefulness).

  • Great tablet for an affordable price!

I had purchased this 10.1 Insignia 32gb tablet for my 7 year old son, so obviously looking for good quality but small price. Battery life seems long. This tablet is only used for games, but I am extremely happy with the quality & value.

  • Great Tablet for the price.

Great Tablet for the price, good speed, nice screen. My only complaint is I wish the speakers were better.

  • Good for the money

The thin profile limits connectors to a micro usb. If you need HDMI out and a better screen resolution, you'll need to spend more money. The screen typing functions are excellent. You'll need to buy a usb power splitter in order to use full usb peripherals. Specs don't mention it, but reviewers have said that you can only use up to 32gb sd cards for added memory. Android 6 is quite a lot improved from the much older version I was using.

  • Great 10" Android tablet

I own several Android tablet devices from an LG smartphone through a 7" Android tablet. There were times that the 7" just wasn't quite large enough screen-wise to fit my needs. In came this Insignia Flex NS-P10A7100. After having used it for several weeks now, it is exactly what I was looking for! Am looking forward to many years of use from this device.

  • Slooooow open & load

It is VERY slooooow...opening & loading. It doesn't stay connected to the wifi, which I have no problem with any other devices. You get what you pay for. Mostly purchased to have larger screen size for book reading and once it finally opens and loades the book, zzzzzzz, it serves that purpose.

  • Tablet has almost everything, probably best purchase I've made.

I am a deal hunter, and so this was an awesome deal. We bought 4. It has everything except perhaps 3G/4G. I learned that super high res screens don't really matter in tablets or cell phones when I couldn't tell the difference between a medium and high res cell phone screen, so the screen is more than enough, with the possible exception of watching FHD videos. I tend to like movies that way, it very doable but being visually inclined I tend to watch them on my monitors instead. One problem (of my own making) though - I initially thought since it had 32GB of RAM that I could go crazy and install as many apps as I possibly could. Well, this might work on a Desktop Computer, but Android apps seems to usurp system resources unnecessarily. So the tablet was absolutely dogging (and I hadn't yet figured out it was cause I installed too many apps) and I thought I may have made a mistake. So today I ran Advanced Task Manager and "BOOST"-ed it, closing a lot of programs (temporarily), then installed Startup Manager (free) and disabled everything in the startup I reasonably could. Then I rebooted and uninstalled as many as possible of the nice but not necessary apps that I don't use constantly. Now it works pretty well again. I did not know until now that it was inadvisable to install too many apps on Android, but of course this problem pertains to the Android Ecosystem and not this tablet in particular. My favorite apps are Google Play Books (since I am interested in history and there are hundreds of thousands of out of copyright texts on history), and Chrome to use my personal life planning software I'm writing. Other apps I use are the Amazon Alexa, Reverb, ConnectBot, Advanced Task Manager, LastPass, Kindle, Nook, Bens Bargains, Shop Savvy, Google Earth, Epocrates (for medication conflict detection), Hacker's Keyboard, Kore, Startup Manager and some game. I'd have to say this among the top if not the top value purchases I have ever made. Extremely pleased.

  • good tablet, competitive price, had to return 1st one to store, but had no trouble obtaining brand new one

the first one I received in the mail, I couldn't download anything on it because it had been on someone else's google account, took it to local best buy and was given brand new tablet. haven't had any problems yet!
