  • Entertaining and good advice for anyone.

Michael Cain did a great job with this book. It tells all about his life and career, but it also has some very good insights into dealing with life and finding yourself. I enjoyed it and feel that I learned something useful for my own life. It was an easy, pleasant read. Highly recommended.

  • The title is misleading, unless you are a Michael Caine fan (it comes from one of his films).

I came across this book while killing time in a library. I glanced at a few pages, then became interested. So I checked it out and became more interested. Now I've purchased a copy as a gift to someone starting to move up in life. Michael writes about his life, but more importantly about the things he's learned during his life. And those things are important whether one is an actor, a manager, or an attorney. Michael writes about how to hold oneself, and how to hold another person's interest. How to prepare for opportunities that one doesn't know will appear and how to respond to such opportunities when they do. In short, this book is one of the best guide books to living a successful life that I have come across. I recommend it.
