A lot of useless information
I feel that the book could have said more with less wording. There is a lot of repeat information that makes the book go on and on and makes the reader want to just put the book down instead of reading the same information over and over again. From the 473 pages of this book, there is just a few sentences regarding what the Tall Whites are capable of doing. It's a little confusing though how time after time Charles could see these creatures and then just shrug it off. I got a better understand of the Tall Whites when I watched the YouTube videos of Charles James Hall. When reading the book though, you get a different perception then from what Charles said on the videos. In book one, he makes it appear that they are distant from him in both correspondence as well as distance. On the videos, he talks about interacting with them more, book one does not give that impression. There is Scripture before each chapter, but I did not see the correlation of that Scripture compare to what was in the chapter. I felt book one contained more information about the work Charles did rather then detailed information about the Tall Whites. The title is quite confusing though for someone who is not familiar with this book prior to purchasing. I'm glad I watched the videos first, because I got a better understanding as to what this book was supposed to be all about. Maybe the rest of the series will have more information and perhaps he was long winded in order to sell more books, but I would have rather paid the same amount of money for a book that was 1/4 of the pages, but got straight to the point.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
