I use it as a portable mp3 player. I have also used it to record live music at jams I play. It works great and battery lasts a long time before needing recharge.
Great Sound!
As a Professional, (video Production now, and owned a recording studio in the 80's & early 90's), I'm pretty picky when it comes to what I hear.
This thing is small, very solidly built out of machined metal, and one of my favorite possessions.
This unit isn't just for dictating, but is Professional Quality, and fantastic for music.
Use mine to record the sound for videos, and sync in Post production. Best sound that I have found for anyone on a budget, and it fits in your pocket! I retired my Tascam after finding this unit.
At this price point, I now have 4 of these L53's. Loved it so much, that I have also bought a few as gifts, and everyone has completely loved them!
My cousin is a professional musician in a fairly well known group. Got him one for his birthday in 2019. He recently told me that he has also bought several, but they are now out of production, and getting harder to find.
I emailed Evistr, and told them that if they would make & market these to musicians, they could take over the market. Not quite top of the line Zoom, but would certainly give Zoom, & Tascam a run for their money.
Very Highly Recommended!!! If you are in Audio in any capacity, You should try to get your hands on an Evistr L53.
Evistr l157 voice recorder, in the short time that I've had it, is a great little device. The build quality is surprisingly good. It is so easy to use and sound quality is most impressive. Highly recommended.
