It works and is very easy to apply.
I used this on my 2015 Toyota Prius. I get all kinds of compliments on how shiny the car is. This product does cover light scratches pretty good. Water just rolls off the car now and water spots are not now a problem after a spray with the hose. Washing the car is easier. This product actually repels dirt pretty good. Do your homework, was, clean, clay/buff, degrease-clean prep, it will make the job a lot easier with a much greater outcome for success. The kit needs more applicator microsuede cloths, 5 is not enough for changing every couple panels as recommended. Also buy a pack of high quality extra fine microfiber buffing cloths. Overall is't a pretty simple easy job when you follow directions, but is time consuming. My car was only 4 months old, I didn't buff it out, only clayed it, came out really slick and smooth, then used a big brand name "ceramic coating prep" cleaner and degreaser I got for $18., enough for 3-4 cars. Strongly recommend you order the maintheance kit, reload, and a good quality glass/plastic/wheel kits also. Go ahead and make about a $200 investment is everything you'll need for the next 2-3 years. Wash, clean, and protect your car as directed and you'll be proud of you work and save yourself $500-$1000. My local detail shop wanted, estimated "$400-500-maybe $550" to buff out, and apply initial ceramic coating, no maintenance or supplies included. My car will be ready to wash, 7-day wait will be up, in 3 days, I've got a maintenance kit coming this week, wheel/plastic/trim kit, glass kit, and microsuede pads, and I'm right at $260 total investment since day one and I sure I have all I need to care for the coating the next 2-3 years. I tried before other brands before must likely all made in USA with very poor and disappointed results turttle wax and mawires names. Too much work and time wasted for nonvalueble products. Easy to apply
Just make sure you have plenty of clean towels to avoid smearing causing high spots. On its own, it is slicker than polished clear coat, but not like wax, though it does improve gloss. The Reload adds wax-like slickness and even more gloss. Scratch resistance is much improved over my soft clear coat.
