Awesome Ice Machine!
I absolutely love this ice machine. Does not have to be hooked up to a water line! Two negatives....nothing I can't live with.....it is loud (sounds like a stove vent) and there is alot of dripping water from the front of the machine. The drip piece catches most of it. This Ice Maker is the Best!
I have wanted one of these Opal Ice Makers since they first came out but didn’t want to spend the money. For my birthday I decided to treat myself, and I’m so glad I did! This ice is perfect!! Everyone in the office is using it now. It’s a huge hit! I have it set by schedule using the app on my phone, and it’s so easy. Wish I had bought one sooner.

I don't normally do this, but if you read the instructions before you start using it helps a lot. It appears to be pumping water back into the tank, which it is. It takes a few minutes before it starts making ice. It does make some noise, but works great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

LOVE IT!
We were concerned about some of the other comments regarding noise. For us it just quietly hums. Works great! Very happy with this purchase. We used to stop at Sonic at least every other day to buy a bag of nugget ice. It would freeze up into blocks in the freezer thereby wasting some of the ice. I would have to listen to my husband bang the bag of ice on the counter to loosen it up. I do not miss that noise every night. The Opal nugget ice maker has actually made my evenings more peaceful. Do not regret this purchase, not one penny. It will pay for itself in less than 6 months.
