Visual sonic fun. Back in the glory days of Hi Fi we had lights and VU meters to augment our kick-back audio enjoyment. This lovely little gadget is for those of us who don't complain about the brightness of the ON light on a stereo component. Love this little VFD beauty that is easy to plug-in, but a little bit of a navigation pain to access menus in an odd way. Instead of cyclking through parameters with the arrows, multiple presses of each button equals a special menu and it's sub menus. A bit over confusing, but functional. Super cool looking and really works
Fun little device. I love the way it looks like a cool prototype but also gives a retro 80's vibe. I wasn't a fan of the clock (I'd rather it just goes to low power mode) so I did the clock ground pin cutting mod. Only minor wish is that it would take longer to go into standby, and maybe drop the giant STDBY... message on the screen. A great addition to any audiophile display
This was something I was trying to find to install in the front of my Sony LBTZX99i. I looked at a lot of analyzers and this was the perfect size with the most professional looking pcb. It works very well with just the mic on ambient filter mode. I was blown away. It has a lot of different modes and the color and brightness are fantastic. The multiple USB c inputs help for concealing the power cable. And it saves your settings when its powered down. Hello i like this. It takes me back to the early 80s when EVERYTHING had to be top shelf and visually pleasing. When the unit isn't working on sound visual effects it shows the time. It remembers the date and time even when unpowered.
