UNIQUE Story & Prospective
Brilliant movie with its own unique style - a play that is almost missing dialogue. Why not - the main character has been raised from childhood to be a war machine. If you go in expecting nothing you should be pleasantly surprised - isn't that what makes great Sci-Fi - a trip into the unknown if you can see beyond the linearity of the storyline. Unexpected lessons learned
Let's face it anyone who has seen the movie soldier it doesn't appear to be a very intellectual movie. And in regards to that reality I believe that there is many hidden messages about support , Caring learning and loyalty. I want review the promise of the movie other than a small synopsis that soldiers in the future are born and chosen at that moment To fulfill their purpose of guardian to the masses. Compassion caring Distinguishing between right and wrong are all void in the Training of the soldier. Todd the best of the soldiers is introduced to the newest generation of soldier and ultimately loses his status. Deserted on an alien planet, a few refugees have discovered that they need a soldier and Todd realizes that he needs them. Soldier is a great story for everyone, at times it might be a little violent but it's not gory. Kurt Russell doesn't have much dialogue but he gets his point out with looks and gestures and some physical duties.
