Great product, but...
Overall this is an amazing product. Works just like the wall plug version of it, and charges insanely fast. Sometimes I'm on an outing, and my phone is near dead - all I have to do is stop by my car for a brief water break and a breather, and my phone is good enough to last the rest of the day on power saving mode! My only issue with this charger is that it doesn't fit properly in all car outlets. It fits fine in my Camry's outlet, but in my Civic's, it's really loose to the point where I have to hold it in place sometimes. Shouldn't the slots be the same standard size? It's nothing a little duct tape won't fix though (wrap it around the charger to increase its thickness).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Charges fast but fits very loosely in cigarette lighter
My particular charger does charge the phone fast but is very loose in the cigarette lighter. It slips out very very easy and has to be held in place often to achieve the charge. I have tried it in several cigarette lighters, all of which have the same outcome. Gets the job done
Since I am on the road a bunch, I needed to make sure I had a charger that would be able to keep my phone up to speed. I will just say this product works extremely well and I was surprised as how quickly it charged up the phone. I am used to old chargers maybe getting me a little juice, but this one brought my S7 back up to 75 percent within an hour. I try to stick to OEM products because I don't want anything shorting out or catching fire or damaging my phone. Charges fast!
Usually if I'm just reading or something light, I plug my 8-inch S2 tablet into one of the common generic USB chargers we have all over the house and car. But they always warn about "slow charging". If I begin to do something intensive like navigating with GPS and higher display brightness those chargers will not keep up with the usage, and the battery discharges in spite of being plugged in. But this charger seems to be working great. It shows that it's charging correctly (not "slow") and keeps up with more power-hungry activities. It appears rugged and well made too. Adaptive Fast Charge Phones will Love this Charger!
If you are lucky enough to have a phone that has the Qualcomm 2.0 fast charging system, like the Samsung Note 4 or other phones with "Adaptive Fast Charge", you will appreciate this charger. Adaptive fast charge is a system that can "read" the characteristics of your phone or tablet to know if it is equipped with the Qualcomm 2.0 fast charge chipset. When it sees that your phone is capable, it increases the output voltage of the charger from the standard 5v to 9v and allows the phone to charge much faster. It is still capable of charging a regular device at up to 2A but it also can charge the fast charge phones at a rate that allows you to fully charge a phone in less than an hour. If you only have 20 minutes between meetings or if you are driving from place to place with limited time, you can still get more than 50% of your charge back in a short trip. While I wish the unit had a light to indicate charging and which mode it was working in, you can see what's going on by looking at your phone. Gone are the days when your little car charger hardly does anything for your battery and this Adaptive Fast Charger will make you wonder why you waited so long to get one. Best Android car charger
I've tried different aftermarket chargers but nothing charged as fast as Samsung's car charger. This item is a bit on the long side (4inch long) so it might stick out a bit while on a car poweroutlet.
