  • Strong, water proof, decent price

I have used Titebond III for years for my Cutting Boards as well as for outdoor furniture. It provides a strong bond that stands up to moisture fairly well. I have several cutting boards that I have washed hundreds of times over several years that are holding up perfectly. 10 minute open time (twice titebond I or II) earns it 4 out of 5 stars 2 hours (or more) in the clamps and 24 hours until fully set is standard for many glues so I'm neutral on that. 3 out of 5 for clamp/set time. Stronger than most wood because wood generaly breaks before a glue joint, 5 out of 5 for strength Fairly water proof unless soaked for long periods, 4 out of 5 for water resistance All in all it's a great choice for any exterior projects or items that will get wet often as well as a bargain when purchased by the gallon.

  • For the ultimate bond of wood

TB 3 for the ultimate glue bond of wood, has some flex, so it can absorb vibration, shock, movement from humidity or temperature. Joint failure is very very rare. Requires a little longer clamp time, bonds well at lower temperatures, down to 47 degrees. Once dry will not dissolve out of clothes, normally that’s not good.

  • Good glue for the project. Making end grain cutting boards and it seems to be the ticket for this type of woodworking.
