It works well, but has a couple of anomalies
There wer two minor problems with the unit I received, the water valve plastic fitting had minor damage on the end, and the switch panel wasn't snapped in place, nor would it snap in. I used 2 small screws to lock it in place, It cools and works great , I'm using it in my workshop to provide cool air when I'm tinkering in it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Needs a little help
The unit is pretty decent. But, it did not come with an adapter to attach a hose to the unit. Without a hose, the water reservoir drains too quickly. Just when one is getting comfortable, they have to get up to refill it. Also, the male water outlet that would requires the adapter is an irregular size; so it is hard to find in hardware stores.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works very well and the osilation feature throws cool air all across a large area.
Very fast service and delivery, cooler work great and is fairly quiet on the lower settings. On the high setting it really blows across a large area and the fan part is a bit loud, but that is to be expected with the fan motor running at that speed. Only have used now for one full day, but it seems to be well made and works great. Works much better than the smaller ones that blow maybe 300 to 350 CFM, but given the three cooling pads and the air blows out at well over 400 CFM at the lowest setting, it is a little loud for indoor spaces that are small.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good buy for a handy person
Good buy for a handy person. Mine came kinda broken. The top section was broken off in the front and 1 side panel. The top also had a crack in it. A heat gun, some washers for the screws, adhesive that works on polypropylene, and time. The fan, pump and swivel motor all work. The plastics needed some heat and massaging to form back into shape since it looks like it sat broken for some time. The washers were to hold the areas that had screws a bit better since the plastics sheared from some screws but had enough plastic to make a connection when washers were used with original screws. adhesive to fill in the crack on top. I recommend the purchase if you have some handy skills and are inclined to fix things. Also beware cosmetics may be an issue with one but if you arent worried about that then this is a good deal. It works great. I wish i bought a bigger one but didnt want to spend the money. For its size its very effective. On humid days i dont use it but where I live those days are few and far between. I would recommend this to anyone in a low humidity enviroment that needs cooling.
