Great Product Very Sturdy
Shipping was great. All the parts were there. Good instructions. Went together very good. About a half hour or so. I have read a lot of reviews and researched other racks and decided on this one. I am very pleased I did. It works great. We hauled 3 adult bikes/2-women and one mans. The hook-up is easy once you get the adjustments where you want them. Very easy to attach to vehicle, I attach two bike frame 1st and then second two bike after that and can do by myself. The only complaint I have is the straps that secure the wheels were too short and did not work on our bikes. I had to go to Lowes and find longer Velcro straps that would work. Other than the straps, I am well pleased. We have used it 3 times and I feel the bikes are very secure.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great bike rack!
I think this is a great bike rack. I spent hours looking before I decided on the HR1400. The first trip I used it on was a trip out to CO. Put 3000 miles on on that trip. Bikes never touched each other at all. It took a second to get the bikes initially setup for spacing on the rack, but after that, things were pretty smooth. I really like the fact that I can break down the rack from a 4 bike to a 2 bike and that process is relatively simple done under a minute. The only comment I'd make is the rack when setup in the 4 bike configuration is heavy....at least to me. In saying that though, it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart anytime soon either! I'd look to Hollywood if I need another bike rack in the future.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very well built.
We've only used it a couple of times, but so far very satisfied. The rack is very well made and the bikes are held securely. The only downside is that it's very heavy, probably 70 lbs or so and shaped awkwardly to carry. One of the reasons I chose this one over other brands is that it easily separates into two sections (can be used with just the main section for one or two bikes), which makes it much easier to handle when installing or bringing back to storage. Our blend of bikes (comfort, mountain, and kids 24" and 26") would have been a complete mess to try and hang at angles on a traditional rack, so we are very pleased with this platform style rack.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy assembly, Excellent quality
Bought this rack and was so impressed that I was able to assemble and hook up to my vehicle without any assistance from my husband! The hardest part about putting it together was getting it out of the packaging...instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was very nervous about causing any damage to my bike or my vehicle, but was able to drive an hour and a half down Interstate 80 without a bit of problem. The quality of this rack is superior.
