Dewalt clone
Not a Dewalt but a clone. No side markings as depicted in their photos. yellow colors are different. Very tight fit, a struggle to get it out of the drill and charger. Measures 21vdc after full charge at room temperature. That wont be a problem for the drill. For the price it's a close replacement for the OEM DC9096. How long they last under normal load has yet to be determined. Packing and shipping time was good, easy to get tracking updates. Only issue for now is the fit. If you have strong fingers to depress the release tabs don't expect a quick battery change.

Cheap in both price and quality
These batteries are very light weight and not in a good way, but instead in the cheap way. They do not retain a charge and do not last long. Much lower quality batteries than the factory Dewalt batteries. One of the first set was also defective and would not charge (crown battery replaced it, thank you). Disappointing performance but at least I'm not out a bunch of money. The hunt continues for a real battery replacement for my 18v Dewalt tools.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a great option for when your DeWalt battery ties, but your drill still runs fine, even tho its old. I've had some experience with off brand batteries and I know they don't last as long (per charge) as the DeWalt, but they did a great job. The picture shows the batteries in Dewalt branded packaging, but they arrive with no brand labeling. That said, they plug in and charge in my old Dewalt chargers and my Dewalt screw guns and circular saw. I either misread or misunderstood the ad...
I either misread or misunderstood the ad for these battery packs. I thought these were genuine DeWalt batteries and not Chinese knockoffs . My experience with these particular batteries is they don’t hold a charge over a short period of use. And they are difficult to engage and disengage power tools. The basic problem is that 18v batteries are no longer made, because DeWalt now makes a 20v version of their power tools. 18 V Batteries are hard to find. I ordered these batteries and so far they seem to be a decent product. I have ordered off brand batteries in the past and they didn’t last. Don’t advertise namebrand and sell aftermarket!
Do advertisement reflects a namebrand DeWalt battery for sale. What arrived or aftermarket batteries that don’t fit well in my chargers because they are DeWalt. I have a difficult time getting them in and getting them out. One of the batteries won’t even take charge.
