Functional, adjustable and way cheaper than the other alternatives
I have a CalEPA Champion 3500 watt generator I installed this carb on myself. I had to remove the charcoal canister vent box in order to mount the carb. You could remount the canister else where if you are eco concerned and plan on using the gasoline option. I am running the propane almost zero emissions with this carb no carbon concerns. I simply put a bolt in the air cleaner box emissions hole just under the crank case vent tube hole.And routed the gas tank vent tube else where. The carb runs my generator to spec right out of the box for both propane setting and gasoline. I do not have natural gas option for my location.I did not receive instruction of any sort. The propane sitting is vertical up and down with the red selector knob and then horizontal side to side for natural gas.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works!
I was skeptical because of the price. I had seen conversion kits for my Westinghouse 2500 for 189.00. I only paid $300 for generator. So when I saw this carburetor for $30, I said what the hell, I'll try it and save $160. It was an exact duplicate of the original. Bolted right in. It starts hard on LP only, so I start it on gasoline then turn off the gasoline and turn on the LP. It ran a 24+ hour day on 1 20# Propane (about 3.5 gal), On gasoline I would have to fill it up (5 gal) after 12 to 14 hours. One of the deer hunters in our camp uses a Cpack machine and needs electricity all night. Already paid for itself in gasoline savings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
