Simple and highly effective!
I'll admit to being doubtful about how well this capo would work on my Tama Classical 3550 nylon string guitar, but as soon as I slipped it on and tightened the clamp, my fears receded. The clamping was firm and the resulting sound was crisp and bell-like, even with 6-month-old strings. My greatest fear was that the capo might not fit across my guitar's extra-wide neck at or above the 5th fret, but the capo's 3.3" arm is totally suited for the task, even at the 9th or 10th fret. Reliable, Durable, no buzz
OK so I got this capo at a work secret Santa party and the guys were skepitcal cause it's not spring loaded but what they didn't know was that's the good thing about it. The screw tight design allows you to fasten it to the finger board so that every string rings clear and is resonant on any fret regardless of how high the action is even on 12 strings! Sure enough after a couple of jams someone lifted it and I had to buy another one, guess they changed their mind on the design. Best capo I've ever had.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
