Excellent product!
I am not to sure about the newer models that are now “Made in China”. But if you ever find one that was “Made in Japan”, then I highly recommend buying it! The newer ones, according to other reviews and appearance, are still a good buy. But no offense and this isn’t toward any single country, but to many things are not made the way they are use to be either due to a decline of valuable resources or due to deliberate reduction in product quality. Many brands both US made and others have declined in quality causing lots of waste to accumulate. This is very eco-friendly and remains sharp for a very very long time!

Super sharp
I love this little knife. I tried it on a tomato and it sliced perfectly but I actually bought it to score bread dough instead of using a lame that needs frequent changes of blade. Great purchase no matter what you use it for, and the color is cool. It also has a sheath to protect the blade and your fingers when nit in use.
