lightweight with boom clamps that hold boom in place without a lot of tightening

These mic stands with booms and mic holders are lightweight and easy to set up. the clamps that hold the booms in place work well and don't require a lot of tightening force to hold the boom with a mic in place. The only issue I have with the mic holders is the holder that the mic just slips into works good when the holder is cold but when it heats up from any exposure to the sun the holder no longer holds the mic firm. The holder actually gets kinda rubbery and won't hold it original form to keep the mic from falling out. the other spring clamp mic holders are decent. Overall I still think this ia a good deal for four mic stands. They worked well for me .

    Mic boom stands

Before I bought the mic stands, I knew they would be of lesser quality than if I had paid a lot more for them I didn't realize that they would be made out of plastic. I will still use them in my studio I'll just have to be careful with them

  • a little lite

They are a little lite after you load your mics on them. They will tip over if you extend the boom to far. My son and I had to add weight to the bottom to keep them from tipping, but they work fine now. My bluegrass gospel group and I used them 2 times this weekend and they done great. thanks Bill K.

  • Great for the rehearsal studio.

These work great in my studio. Was looking for stands to use so I wouldn't have to continually take the studio stands down to use during a venue. These are perfect.

  • Good bang for your buck, if you're gentle.

I haven't used these that were just sent to me as of yet but I've used many like them, and it's your run of the mill cheap mic stand. use it with care and they'll last well beyond their worth, treat them like a high quality mic stand and they'll not last the week. gentle is key to longevity. all in all you can't beat 10 $ per stand. even if you have to use duct tape in a month. I feel that for a small studio with minimal projects (which is my use for them) these are great. gigging and travel I wouldn't trust them or at least rely on them as a primary stand. If you're running sound for a band that is notorious for mistreating or tearing up stands then these are perfect for your sacrificial stand.

  • Lightweight with proprietary mic cradles

Mic stands aren't very sturdy. The base is plastic and these can tip over easily. I may end up using these as guitar cab mic stands. The mounts for the mic cradles are not standard sizes. These are made with some weird size and are plastic. Hope they won't break on the road.

  • 4 Mic stands

Good deal for the $$... They are light. I'll see how they hold up. They seem fine for use in the studio, to mic a drum kit, speaker cab... etc...

  • Cheap affordable stands for the DIY Studio Musician.

First stand I have seen with 2 mic clips on one stand, and for this price you get 4 stands for a total of 8 mic placement opportunities. Works great for acoustic guitar when you use 2 mics because you can use 1 stand and good placement! You will need adapters to use these are they are threaded for small clips! They are made of all plastic material so not very sturdy for any overhead applications. I do not expect them to last very long for the heavy use I put them through, so high quality mic stands will pay for them selves in the long run.
