A good source for your tax software. Excellent price and quick shipment. Better value than local Big-Box stores. Although had to upgrade my windows to Windows 10, I have Windows 7 for the previous years.

Software won't install
This software will not install from its CD, so its hard to give a review of the actual product. I have been going back and forth with its tech support staff for a couple of weeks now, and am not closer to getting it working, than when I first got it. Am going to keep at it, but I don't know if i'll be able to actual get it working in the end or not.

Takes the burden out of tax preparation
Use H&R every year for tax returns. Simple to install and use, and it guides you through the tax process. I purchase the edition with the state return as it makes it easier to file both returns. Federal filings are free, the state, you have to pay for E Filing, but it is easy to do and better than paper filings. Recommend to all for filing your taxes.

Used H&R block software for years .. don't like that the CHAT is harder to use now ..but it's Ok
H&R block software is easy to use .. they have changed the CHAT..option ..Used to be you just click on chat & ask your question ..NOW you have to open in a separate browser & leave the process of doing your tax return ..ask question ..then GO BACK to filling in return .. not as convenient

I've been using this software for many years
I've used this software to do my taxes for many years. I retired in 2019 so doing my taxes was much different than in prior years. The H&R Block Tax Software walked me through it with no issues. It will be much easier next year because it imports the prior year's return and gives me the opportunity to enter similar information. One federal e-filing is free and I get email notifications whenever the status of my return is updated. Highly recommended.

Broken promises
Unable to e-file even though it's totally acceptable with IRS. Quote from help site "it's hit or miss with our program for e-filing prior years". I asked for a workaround. Quote from help "workaround is to paper file". Gee..thanks.
