Electric convenience without the cord
Very powerful. Was able to cut through 1/2” thick branches. It replaced a corded version. Not being limited to the length or your extension cord gives new found freedom. I used it to trim light tree branches overhanging my driveway. I also have the same mfg blower and string trimmer. Way Too Heavy
I'm 75 years old and my last lightweight corded hedge trimmer was stolen. I've got 3 six foot tall hedges and this 10+ lb tool is just way too heavy. The battery lasts a long time so it might be ok if you have 3' tall boxwood hedges, but it's the wrong tool for serious hedges. Toro 60V Hedge Trimmer gets the job done
No longer have to worry about cutting the power cord. Battery lasts long enough to get through all my shrubs. Similar power to my corded hedge trimmer. Very good buy. Better than expected
I bought this Toro hedge trimmer to trim the trees branches 3 inches back on my 1400 foot driveway. I wanted a battery with a charge that would last at least 1 1/2 hours. The first charge lasted about 2 hours. I liked the 3 positions that the blades can be turned for ease of cutting. The weight of the hedge clipper and battery is not very heavy. Lighter than expected. The on/off and safety control button are a pain to work. Once a user gets the knack of using it. It isn't good but acceptable. The other issue is sometimes when the blades are turned, the electrical contacts are not quite making connection. If the user wiggles the body/blade units, the clippers work again. Once the user gets used to the clippers doing this, it is irritating but acceptable. The charging unit is heavy duty and the battery fits well into the charger. It removes with a firm tug. I am very pleased with this hedge trimmer. I accomplished the task in a total of 4 hours. This unit is far better than I expected.
