Though Love may not last forever it can be rekindled.
Silly... But, we can't live without it. The old one lasted eight years, then stopped working properly. It was not be worth having it repaired. Not having one after that time was unthinkable. If I have to replace this one in eight years... it will be worth it… though hopefully not sooner. It is the exact make and model as the old one. There have been no improvements or variations. It is made by an Asian manufacturer, perhaps South Korean, where we had experienced it for the first time. They license other companies to put their names on it; however, it is the same item if it looks the same just with a different name. We have a number of them installed. Our house will never go back to using toilet paper!
This is our second SmartBidet SB-1000 Electric Bidet. The bidet seat we had previously sprung a leak in the water pump so we decided to replace it with one like we have in our second bathroom. The SmartBidet SB-1000 works great. There are enough settings for temperatures and pressures to satisfy anybody. We would not recommend this for people that have small children due to the workings of the seat. Our house will never go back to using only toilet paper. We have a septic system and it has helped that in that we only use minimal paper so there's less solids. I really like the Smart Bidet. It works better than I thought it would. I really can't think of any other features you could ask for. It washes and dries. The remote is easy to read. Hooking it up was really easy. Getting it aligned to the toilet was somewhat of a chore. The directions were a little difficult to read and understand. Other than that I really like it. Nice TP alternative
First time using a bidet. This works for me almost perfectly. I have nothing to compare, so my only thought is that the drying feature may not solve at100% or takes longer or can still require a couple of squares of tp. And that may be typical! This beats the rest of the current Electronic Bidet market
I have used the Electronic Bidet since 2008, and started with different product. At that time, it was expensive to buy, hard to get one, and hard to install - lots of jobs including plumbing, difficulties in water pressure, filtration issue. I bought the second bidet from the Co*** system in 2009, and still I am using this one, but there were a couple of issues - installation is bit hard, cleaning is a bit of mess (you need to regularly clean the space between bidet, and toilet), replacing filtration was costly, and plastic sit cover changed color after few years of use. After my family moved to new house recently, I have searched many websites to cover all the bathrooms I have with Bidet and found the SmartBidet Sb-1000 Electric bidet, and decided to give it a try. First thing is the "Price". In the past, general bidet was very pricey, and this unit is very affordable. Second thing is the "Functionality" - It has everything that you need - genders, water pressures, temperatures, warm seats, oscillation and energy saver, virtually everything in the remote controller, and it is easy to control. Third thing is a "Space saver" - compared to previous two electric bidets which I owned - this bidet saves lots of spaces because it does not have control panel on the side. Forth thing is "Easy Installation" - I am not an expert on plumbing - with the beginner level of plumbing, you can install within 30 minutes - 1hr, and also instructions are easy to follow up if you get puzzled. Fifth thing is "Easy to clean" - You can uninstall the top toilet part by clicking the side latch, and it is easily detachable for regular deep clean in between the toilet seats and toilet. I have purchase two to try out this SB-1000, however, I have recommended to my other family members this is available and feed backs are really awesome. Also I think I already made up my mind to buy one more to finish the powder room in my house.
