Maverick (Tom Cruise) is a reckless F-14 pilot who flies by instinct and breaks all of the rules. Awesome is an understatement!
I saw this movie when it first came out. It blew me away. Now all these years later I live about 20 miles from the Blue Angels. We are treated twice a year to two free Air Shows by these magnificent pilots. When they are in town you can go every Wednesday to watch their practice sessions. When Top Gun Maverick came out I hoped it would be as good as the first. I saw it four times. It was magnificent.
