Spring Session M is a great 80s memory
If your looking for a retrospective album that represents the 80s nicely in sound and theme, this is a highly recommended album. It was mostly over-looked in its time, but the music and the talents of the artist age well. A few strong songs, and even the stuff that didn't chart still sounds pretty good. Strong songs includes "It Ain't None of Your Business" , "Destination Unknown", "Walking in LA", "Tears", "Words" and the bonus track not included on the original vinyl or cassette, "Mental Hopscotch". There's no-one quite like Missing Persons
No band had a sound quite like Missing Persons. Funk and Synth and Progressive and Dance and Hard Rock all at the same time - with a commercial polish to boot. Most people will know "Words", the hit song and FM radio staple of the 80s and early 90s, but it's only when you listen to the whole album that you discover the depth that was present behind that tune. This may be a reissue of the original, but it's quality is top-notch.

Great debut album from Missing Persons. Formed from Frank Zappa's 1979-80 band. Lots of hair. Lots of makeup. Power Drumming. Super-Hot vocalist Dale Bozzio(Mary from Joe's Garage by FZ) who squeeks just the right notes. Great 1980s music.
