Featuring classic songs such as "Crosstown Traffic," "Voodoo Chile," "Gypsy Eyes," and "All Along the Watchtower," the story of Hendrix's epochal 1968 double album is told in words, music, and rare archival footage. Also included are interviews with Experience bandmates Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell, as well as Steve Winwood (who played organ on the album), and, in his last interview, Chas Chandler, the manager (and former Animals bass player) who nurtured Hendrix's career from its infancy.
