Not as funny 30+ years later
This is a good movie to see some older famous actors and that is about it. The charm it brought back in 1981 is completely gone and it has not held up to the test of time. Hot women and classic cars in a funny entertaining movie
If you like classic cars like i do then you will like this time capsule of a movie. Classic cars and a varied cast that is no longer with us. The Roger Moore James Bond Aston Martin entry is totally a blast to watch. The two hot babes in the Lamborghini are wonderful, especially when they run across the hot female state trooper. Dean Martini and Sammy Davis Jr. as priests in a red Ferrari 308 is just classic. Farrah Fawcett was a pleasure to watch. Burt Reynolds and Dom Deluise were good friends in life and their partnership in the movie reflects this. The out takes during the end credits shows the light-hearted fun they all had making this film. Thank you Burt wherever you are for making a funny entertaining automotive movie.
