Run Well But Cheaply Made - Easily Damaged During Replacement
The movement will keep excellent time but it is cheaply constructed. Due to the use of many plastic parts and plastic welds holding the movement bridge in place it can be easily damaged during installation. I brought this as a replacement movement for a similar part and I broke two movements before I got wise to how fragile they are. I assume the manufacturer has special equipment to set the hands but if you pull the hands more than once to get the "striking" right, you can pull the hour wheel out of place and break the plastic welds that hold the bridge down. I also had this happen with a same make PC22. At least they are inexpensive to try again.
