Nice boat but NOT self-righting
This boat is NOT self-righting in my experience/opinion. It flips upside down and stays that way if 1. You turn too sharp while going too fast. 2. You hit a submerged object while going too fast. - But if you turn gently at all times and only go full throttle in water you’ve thoroughly scoured for partially submerged logs while going below 1/2 power than it’s a good boat. I also avoid reverse so as not to get moss in the prop and locking it up. Now if you like swimming in lake water or have a real boat, I don’t suppose you have to worry about any of this. But these are things I’ve learned the hard way with this boat. I was lucky to get it back every time without breaking the “no swimming” ordinance. (Also helps to have a fishing pole with a treble hook lure handy to retrieve it)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Leaving a review on this 009 boat i got this last year. Awesome Rc boat for anyone real easy to maneuver around the lake, if the boat flips upside down it flips around on its own real cool feature. It comes with a brushed motor system only goes (15mph) Comes with a Li- ION Battery. It was to slow for me and the battery life was not the greatest, I had to upgraded the boat to a brushless system since i wanted more power also installed a 2200 Lipo battery instead of the Li-ION, Price is reasonable and the boat is ready to run already I recomend for anyone 14+ 👍😁

lots of fun
Charged the included battery and took to our local lake/pond. Had fun chasing the confused ducks for about 20mins. Charge lasted a good while; buying 2 more batteries so I can spend longer on the lake/pond. I thought it was broken at 1st until I set it down in the water and it took off; I like the anti-dry firing feature that'll keep the motor from overheating and burning up. Boat travels incredibly fast; about 30mph. it didn't take long(maybe a minute) to go across our small lake/large pond. Looking forward to the next weekend out on the lake. Great boat, use lipos!

Probably the best value available for an RC boat!
Nearly Identical to my Pro Boat REACT 17. But for less then half the price, its hard to go wrong here. Very quick for a brushed boat, handles pretty well and is easy to use.
