Decent bike for the price.
I got this bike as a customer return. It had obviously been opened and there were a few minor scratches, but overall this was a tremendous value. I was able to do 100% of the build and adjustments myself, but I have the tools and experience. If you don't, a LBS should be able to do final adjustments for a reasonable amount. This will make a nice commuter and family outing bike (so I don't have to use my higher end road bike for these things). Overall I'm very happy with the bike, especially for the customer return price!Verified purchase: Yes

Great bike with one minor oversight
The bike is a cinch to put together, though it didn't come with all the supplies necessary to make it, which you might already have if you're the sort of person that wants to put a bike together (Allen wrenches and bike lube). The bike is easy to ride and works very well. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a kickstand, and the instructions recommend you take it to a bike shop if you want one installed. I'll have this bike for the next 20 years...
Even though the Vilano Diverse 3.0 is considered an "entry level" bike, it's got all the right parts in all the right places. As some reviewers will suggest, replace the pedals with higher quality pedals and replace the saddle if it doesn't fit your sit bones. Otherwise, it's quite a nice bike, handles well, and the brakes allow it to stop on a dime. Not much trouble putting together .I build bicycles for a hobby so this was easy for me. It was a return bike with a scratch by the seat back above the rear wheel.i have shimano emblems so that was an easy fix.
