Timbre-matched to Polk Audio RTi speakers, the units in this in-wall speaker system use the same internal components and lightweight polymer composite cone material, allowing the users to combine them for a custom configuration. In addition, the Polk Audio speaker system performance brings lifelike detail to soundtracks thanks to its superior tweeter technology. The Tweeter Compensation Switch digitally compensates for reflective rooms, creating optimum performance. The patented PowerPort Bass Venting in this Polk Audio speaker system counteracts turbulence at the port, ensuring speaker-to-subwoofer blending for smooth bass response. Polk Audio stand by their name
even though the first release date is like a decade ago, the sound quality is there. I have 4 of these for my surround and the sound is rich and phenomenal. The details come through with high definition and are not overwhelming with brightness, though not too shy with crispiness. Basically, a full range sound that you are looking for when listening to audiophile music and watching Dolby Atmos-powered movies, in a room where floor-standing speakers would not be an option. And the other awesome thing is - you can barely see them! They really vanish! Totally recommend.
