Decoration only, rusted after 3 weeks.
Looked solid when received but due to poor packaging already had a few places where paint was chipped off. Paper thin cardboard box did not protect gas can from anything. Wasn't a huge deal because I planned to change the color anyway. Spray painted can TWICE and is already rusting in a dozen points after only 3 weeks. Note, my paint was OVER the already painted can so with THREE solid coats there should be ZERO rust. Worse, can was filled with 5 gallons of gas on a 80 degree day, expansion of air within the tank (because of the temperature difference) caused the can to bulge out and now is a different shape. The pot metal would have burst on a 100+ degree day.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
