Red lion pumps use poor quality cast iron.
I've had two red lion pumps freeze and crack. I realize i should have brought them in earlier in the season. I stood this, wheat looked to be new, pump on it's end and the cast iron corner just snapped off. I think the cast iron is of poor quality,

Loooks to be a well made pump
