Very happy with the P-45
I shopped several brands in searching for my first weighted-keys piano, but everyone I spoke to said "get a Yamaha". Apparently this is a long standing reputation! The feel of the keys and the beauty of the sound are totally satisfactory. I enjoy the 10 or so sounds I can choose in addition to grand piano. Most of all, the unit feels solid, sounds great, is lightweight enough to move with no problem, and I love learning on it. Great piano at the right price,
My wife and I bought this piano for our adult daughter who lives in a three-story walk-up. Very difficult to move an acoustic piano up to her apartment. Great piano for the price
Sounds pretty close to the real thing. The very high keys sound a little weak, but definitely acceptable. One con is the location of the jacks on the back make access very difficult when the piano is placed against a wall. Especially a pain if you use headphones a lot. Delivery on time, good quality
The product was delivered on time, everything in good condition. The piano is perfect for who is learning (such as me!) the basics. Hopefully it will be fun even when I acquire more expertise. I have the product for nearly a month now, so it is still brand new. The stand and the bench are the simplest ones, does not allow comfort for everyone (just three holes for the bench and four of five for the stand). As is the pedal, very simple, but works. Great Substitute for piano.
As a former piano teacher I have to say that this is the next best thing to a piano. The touch feels the same and the ease of operation is great. None of the sounds are exactly like a piano but they are close enough to be pleasing. The organ and string sounds are nice.
