Stopped working in 3 uses!
I was so going to write a raving review about this vacuum because I loved it so much! My old Kenmore is 20 yrs old and actually still running! So I wanted a replacement and this was perfect! They thought of everything you could want in a vacuum! The third time I plugged it in the beater bar was kicking dirt all around! I put in on floor and the machine was dead!! Completely not running no suction at all!! It was bizarre and I returned it. I wanted it so bad I was heartbroken. I read reviews stating this from other people but took a chance.. This is a light, easy-to-use, vacuum that really does the job.
It is a very easy to use vacuum. The power head works on both carpet and floor and does an excellent job of removing dust, lint etc. from the carpets especially. So far we have had no "clogs" or other difficulties. The head of the power unit is of exactly the right profile to get under chesterfields and other furniture in instances where the other products that we have used just will not do the job. The pet attachment makes it easy to remove unwanted pet hair or lint etc. from upholstered furniture, stairs and awkward access carpeted or padded areas. the bag is very easy to remove and replace (if you follow directions). We used to use Kenmore canister vacuums for years and my wife loved them. In recent times we have used products from other manufacturers that were highly rated. An affordable floor vac with a great suction.
This is a vacuum with incredible suction. I also have a Miele and this vacuum performs as well as that vacuum. I like the larger wheels, as they roll over small objects on the floor (dog and cat play toys, for example). The only complaint is that the small round brush attachment does not swivel on its mount like the big floor brush does. I am not a big fan of the bagless vacuums, as emptying and cleaning them is a real hassle and I wind up with quite a bit of vacuum dust on me. I like just removing a bag and tossing it. That's what this vac has! There is a HEPA filter with this machine, so basically it is doing what the bagless vacs ascribe to doing.
