    This is too modern for old vinyl and the needle slides across shallow grooves, scratching vintage vinyl. It also doesn’t have a pickup feature, so when the side of an album is done, it just stays at the end without returning the arm to the base. I wouldn’t use this if you have valuable vinyl that is more than a few years old.
