Finally found one of my favorite childhood books!
My school library had this book when I was in Jr. High, and it was one of my favorites. But I couldn't remember anything about it other than it had awesome spaceship illustrations. Eventually with the right search, I was able to track it down! Then I had to wait to find an affordable copy. Finally have it and it's as great as I remember. The writing is fun - futuristic from a 1978 perspective, and the illustrations are amazing!
