works exactly like you hoped it would
The only question I had before buying this was if the adhesive would hold well enough to the phone that I could TRUST my phone to be mounted to my bike and not fly off. I can say you can relax.In fact, be darned certain you place the mount exactly where you want it because it will definitely not be coming off easily. The mount locks in tightly and doesnt stick too far off the back of the phone that im concerned about the size it adds to the case.

Not suitable for mountain biking
If you're planning to use it in a road bike, it'll be a "good" accessory. But it will not hold your phone while mountain biking, and you'll probably lost your phone like I did.
