Best Patch For Freestyle Sensors
These are the best patches that I have found in assisting my freestyle sensor to remain in place. I work outside in the humid South and sweat is always an issue in warm to hot weather. I like the oval shape which has helps it to remain in place. I use a plastic cap made to cover the sensor before applying the patch as this allows for the patch to be removed and replaced if needed. The cap allows the sensor to remain in place while changing the patch as it keeps the patch from bonding to the sensor. I also apply Skin Tac before applying the sensor and the patch as this helps in retaining both in place. I rarely have to change the patch before the two weeks are up and the sensor dies.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Stick very well
The adhesive is very good to cover my Guardian Sensor. I was using what Medtronic sends with them. I had to apply liquid adhesive then their strips.Then a coat the diameter of the adhesive patch they still came off. Now I just attach one of these and no worries. Works well, no irritation
To clarify the picture, it's just a flat oval; there isn't a nonstick pad or a raised area in the middle or anything. They're taking a picture of it over a Libre. That being said, it sticks on great over a Dexcom and I didn't have to cut any slits or anything, but I could have. Stayed on about 9.5 days before starting to peel; definitely made it functionally the whole time. I'm able to pull it off the Dexcom without removing the transmitter, but it makes the transmitter sticky. Worth the price
I'm a first time buyer of these patches. I always used tegaderm before this. The patches stay in place in the shower or in bed I tend to roller around a lot at night.
