Excellent Little Speakers at a Nice Price!
I purchased these LOGITECH speakers for my portable media player because the sound quality wasn't too good on the player itself. I already had a pair of these Logitech Speakers hooked to my PC, so I knew they were excellent already. I've tried other speakers but these had a superior sound quality than the other brands I tried out. No it isn't like having BOSE speakers but for the low price these do the trick. These speakers have their own volume control knob which is a nice extra feature that most other speakers don't have. These need to be plugged into a standard wall jack or extension cord. They hook into the headphone jack on my media player and push out a nice treble and bass sound. If they are cranked up to the max the sound breaks up a bit, but that's a given with any economy speakers. They do have a wire that connects the right to the left speaker, No pull out plugs the wire is permanently connected. It's about 2 and a half feet long for speaker separation. They are sturdy and will last for a very long time. I know because the ones on my regular PC have worked for over 15 years now. Highly recommended!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better that expected
Are these speakers going to give you concert hall sound? Heck no!! What in the world are you thinking? Are these speakers better than what your laptop has? You bet! Are they worth the price? Absolutely! I often preview musical performances of pieces I'm considering to purchase for the band I conduct. These speakers are small enough to keep on my often cluttered desk, the separation is decent, and the audio range is quite good considering they are so small and plastic. Nice intermediate speaker for the office
If you're wanting an entertainment room quality speaker this isn't the speaker set for you. They are, however, a nice desktop speaker for the office. If you're listening to music on the low to medium loudness side or just want to hear notifications they work great. They aren't that big, but they put out a nice sound. Like everything Logitech does they feel like they are made well and work in the range you are buying nicely. For a two piece speaker set, they do just fine. Great Sounding Computer Speakers With Plenty Of Power.
The sound and volume are ten times better then the speakers on the computer. . . Has great volume for movies or music. I love the fact that you can turn it off and on or turn up the volume with the knob. It let's you know it's on by the light. You can use headphones when needed. I love the fact that it frees up one USB port, cuz it plugs in to ac/dc adapter for power. They are six inches tall, but packs a lot of power. I rated this item five stars.. Worth the money. Small speakers but very loud sound..
I had already owned this speakers before they get pretty loud without any terrible sound quality and they last for a long time depending on how well you take care of them, i recently re-brought these speakers again after the ones i had for 5 years caught a shortage in them. Ive used these speakers for everything ...i hook them to my pc, phone, tv, portable game systems and the sound is amazing plus their very easy to transport they can fit in anything but the reason i got them mostly is because of the Sound jack..Most speakers don't offer loud bass and sound through their plug in jack but these do. Most powerful, Clear sound, & sturdier construct in its price range
While there may be a few brands that are this powerful (10 watts) & well built, they are all at least $10-20. higher. It is at least 2inches 'deeper' at base than most of the cheaper choices, the speakers still 'fit' behind most any desk-top Monitor base, & are definitely 'upscale' both in looks, design & certainly in performance & power. Logicool/Logitech Speakers
Logicool is what Logitech is called in Japan. These are great speakers for the price. I use them on my gaming PC when I don't use my headphones and they are great. Decent bass, mids are ok, but treble is lacking. For the price they can't be beat though. Quality speakers at a great price
When I got a new desktop, I switched a pair of these Logitech speakers to it and moved my laptop to the kitchen so I could listen to audiobooks while working there. Then I remembered why I had extra speakers! I could not hear above the sounds of frying or running water. Now have these speakers on both my computers and never have any issues with volume.
