AMAZING PRODUCT, TREATS INFECTION WELL
I take it to treat and prevent the recurring mastitis I've had since my daughter was born. If this product came defective or inactive, I would know it, because my infection would come back. It started to flare up this week and all I had to do was take two a day instead of one for a few days and it's gone again. For any mastitis sufferers/breastfeeding mothers or expecting mothers, this works better than antibiotics in clearing up a mastitis infection. I took 3 a day for a few days, then two, and now one a day as a maintenance dose. (Unless it starts to flair up, then I take two a day until the swelling goes down again) My doctor was going to resort to putting me on a daily antibiotic until I wean my daughter. I breast fed my sons for 3 years each, so that would have been a daily antibiotic for 2 1/2 years... I'm SO glad I found this. (I read a study where two strains found in this probiotic were being tested to treat mastitis infections.) Also, I should note, I took a course of antibiotics three times before getting sick again and finding this remedy (These made me feel better the first day I took them) They work BETTER than antibiotics.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
