Best filter out there
A week after purchasing my 18x48 pool my stock pump went out, I decided to buy a sand filter since seeing the reviews online that claim it’s the best. This pump really works! It’s so worth it! It was pretty easy to put together the sand took a hand to put in but my poor pool was so cloudy and it’s crystal blue now! The shipping came a day earlier then expected!

Pump that should be stock
We bought an Intex 18x48 pool and immediately noticed the supplied pump was trash. It wouldn’t go two days without having to clean the filter. I found this sand pump for half of what Intex sells for on their website and it does an amazing job even comes with a new eye if you have an older pool. Sand was cheap and maintenance is a breeze. I like the digital display and setup was easy. I did have a problem with it pumping sand into the pool but there was some cotton plugging the valve head. I highly recommend filter socks on your slimmer if you use this pump. It’s powerful enough to power the Intex vacuum where the stock one wouldn’t get it to budge. I will be making a hardline setup as the stock 1.25 inch hoses for the inlet to the pump get sucked in quite a bit from the power of the pump. Overall I’m very satisfied with the product and look forward to years of a clean pool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best sand filter pump I've ever had
I bought this as "open box" I was hesitate because you never know if a piece will be missing. Bht everything was there in absolute new condition. I replaced my old 3000 gph sand filter pump with this the very same one. It's sn excellent sand filter pump with timer. My pool is 18x48 and it gets lots of use. Make sure filter terminals aren’t broken
First one they senti followed instructions spent $30 bucks on sand. Not knowing the terminal was broken in filter I turned it on and it shot about 20 lbs of sand down hose broke my automatic sweeper. So they had me cut cord then sent me a new one. Spent another $30 for sand. So altogether $60 of sand and $60 sweeper and a day or so of work altogether cost me about $275 for this pool pump. Only wanted to refund me $20 that I haven’t seen yet. But the new one they sent is working great. $275 bucks it should be lol just be careful and you really can’t see down in filter to check it of so run it on drain first. I took it up the a$$ on this one but that’s how it goes. $20 refund WTH!! At least a new sweeperVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a "Monster" of a sand filter and pump
My old pump and filter broke after years of use. We found this Intex sand filter and pump and thought it was a good replacement. This thing is a monster, we couldn't beleave how much water this thing pumps. Our pool vacuum works so much better and the water is cleaner than ever. Great product!
This thing is great! I wish I had purchased one years ago. Our pool was so green, you couldn't see 5 inches into the water. We were using the stock pump and cartridge filter. Because of Covid, you cant find cartridges anywhere. So I bought this, hooked it up, and 24 hrs later our pool was clear!
