  • Well made motor. Not cheap like the ones with the welded bell ends.

I was improvising with this motor working on a project that needed this size motor. I knew I would need to change the rotation from ccw to cw rotation, so I had to have a motor that both bell ends were removable. With this motor both ends were removal so that was an easy fix and that part worked out fine. The problem I encountered was that in the specs. for the motor there are two different shaft lengths listed. One said it was 1-1/4" long and the other said it was 1" long. I needed 1-1/2" length shaft in order for the fan to clear the receptacle where it plugged in. But I took the chance that it would be 1-1/4" long and was disappointed because it was only 1" long. I was able to shim the motor up to make it long enough to work. All in all it worked out fine, the motor is not as quiet as I would have liked but is acceptable. So my project is up and running.

  • Its a MIRACLE!

I have an old 1950's original fan in my kitchen. It has NO identifying information on it but seems to be one of the Nutone brand fans that everyone seems to have from that era (thank God there seems to have been only one major supplier at the time). The fan sits in a tripod frame that holds it under gravity. Anyway, it wasnt really doing much anymore. I I measured the diameter of the old motor, the diameter of the spindle, the length of the spindle and the rotation of the propeller, and picked this one as a replacement. To be honest, I DOUBTED it would fit and work but it worked PERFECTLY! Just set it in and turned it on! I couldnt get the propeller off the old unit so I had to buy a new blower (they dont seem to use propellers anymore). I got the metal one that was 5.5" diameter (the biggest I could find but still smaller than the propeller diameter). A smoke test verified it was turning and sucking air like a CHAMP. To have fully replaced the old fan and all the ductwork (rectangular, again, not made anymore) and repair the roof would have cost me probably $1500! I AM THRILLED that someone is still making these replacement motors.

  • What I needed for an " old, odd ball" assembly.

I needed a new fan assembly for a bathroom exhaust fan that is probably 20 - 30 years old and an "odd ball size." So I went looking for a replacement fan motor instead of an entire assembly. This was exactly what I need and it works wonderfully. The shipment was fast also. This Company is first rate! Thank you.

  • Works for Nutone 3210

I have an older Nutone kitchen ex fan model 3210.although my fan,s rotation was different you can easily change the rotation of this fan by removing 2 screws & switching the ends of the motor. You will need to cut out a small amount from one of the holes With tin snips to feed the power cord thru. Sorry, no assembly pics, but it’s not complicated. Works great & it’s quiet!

  • a few modifications

had to make a new mount for this motor as my old fan mount holes where to close together and also had to change rotation as this fan motor runs counterclockwise and I need to run mine clockwise. no big deal and works as it should now. this motor can be set up to run either way.

  • Nutone 8110 (with adapter)

Works great on my vintage Nutone 8110 side wall vent fan. Original fan motor the blade and motor shaft are 5/16". If you get a 1/4" inside to 5/16" shaft adapter bushing with set screw hole worked perfectly. Mine came from CSH electric motor supply online.

  • A quality fan motor that solved my problem. It is already installed so I don't have a photo.

The fan motor fit my bathroom fixture perfectly and works very well. Additionally, it arrived well packaged and in a cardboard box. I am very please with this item and have instlled it successfully. It was good value for me because I did not have to buy and install a new bathroom fan system saving me a lot of money and aggravation

  • Packard 3.3 cent fan motor

It’s perfect! I replaced the motor from an old Emerson Pryne bathroom fan. Perfect match for mounting.

  • Too bad the plug needs bending for clearance

Good quality fan. Only issue was with the plug not being on an angle. You would think after all the years the manufacturers would have done something about that. You will have to reuse your bracket and fan cage so save those off the old part. Getting a new motor will save you $ and time instead of finding some garbage assembly. Make sure to have a standard allen wrench (long) to tighten your fan back on.

  • Good enough

This motor worked as a bathroom fan replacement. My old fan was from the 60's so I couldn't find an identical replacement motor. The shaft on this new motor wasn't quite long enough, and there was no c-clip groove, but I got creative and made it work. It's also 1500 rpm vs 3000 rpm on the original motor. It doesn't move as much air, but it is noticeably quieter now.
