the ability to adjust the type of sound one gets is really a great fucntion. For example, cutting base and boosting mid range is great for older individuals whose hearing is diminishing. also for late nite so the volumn can be kept lower... Hardest part of connecting it was getting it out of the box and finding the “hidden” remote, battery, and cords/optical canle. Set up a breeze and works great. Works great! I doubt it is 125 Watts output (but does not need to be) since the power supply is rated at 20 Watts. However it does what it is suppose to do which is enhance voice frequencies and still have plenty of volume. Solves the problem
