Great bargain on a great OEM part
Very good product and makes shooting a Glock 21 much more fun. If you are nervous about installing it yourself, don't be. Suggest that you watch any of the tutorials on replacing this part that are available on YouTube. When you do that you will learn the technique for sliding the retaining pin out of the pistol and using the correct size punch you just push the pin out. No effort at all and the replacement part is a straight drop in part. Put it in, push the retaining pin back in place and put the slide back on and your good to go! The extension is comfortable to you, will allow you to put the slide back into battery without a major readjustment of your hand position on the grip and will help you get on target quicker after swapping out magazines.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect fit and finish
Do yourself a favor and replace the old standard slide release. This release only protrudes slightly more than the factory installed release but just that small amount makes all the difference in the world. Not enough to get caught in clothing when carrying off duty. Really nice. Works well and looks right on the pistol.
I tried one from another brand and it was too hard to engage the slide lock with my shooting thumb. Also the other one was completely smooth which looks alien on the Glock. This one works easily and has the serrations on it like the one that comes on the gun.

Affordable, exactly what I needed
I already had one of these on my glock 26 even though I could release the stock slide release.
