Dyson replacement battery
Timed the Dyson stick vac with this replacement battery. On Max Power setting, fully charged and new battery lasted about 16 minutes before vac quit. Bad luck
I not sure how to describe this replacement battery. When I see a product marked with the "Sony" brand and a ten-year warranty, I think it must be a very good product. After receiving the battery, I let it fully charge for 24 hours. But with each vacuuming for a short period of time and targeting only a small area, the battery drained, seemingly gasping and pausing. It’s very disappointing, I bought it less than a month ago and I don't want to use it anymore. Not recommended to buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I charge it before using it the first time and l didn't push the charging plug all the way and the battery wasn't changing but found out what the problem was.now it is running fine l was not expecting a brand new one but this Dyson V8 is in very good condition except that one of the tools is not working the one with the rolling brass l am not going to make this as a big deal cause l will be using this in my carVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I have no words, I guess I just got the shaft again.
I ordered two Dyson batteries the first one wouldn't take a charge. Only the green light came on and would only run the vacuum for about 10 seconds and then die so I throw it away . The second one has been on the charger for three days and doesent work either. I know it is not a problem with the charger because I have two of them and two dyson vacuums and both chargers work just fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

works but not as good as initial battery
Battery is too cheaply made and overheats in my dysons I have 2 dyson v8's and at 1st I thought they were broken. The battery fits prefect, looks good, and runs good initially, but after vacuuming for a few minutes the dyson starts to turn off, you can start it again so the battery isn't dead. I did some research and it turns out despite possibly being stronger as the rating says the cheaply made batteries will overheat causing this condition, it happens in both dyson's but never with the original, although the original is old and only holds a chard about a minute now. Once gone it stops completely. showing me it's definitely an overheating issue. There are many videos on youtube comparing the batteries if looking for something better, these were dirt cheap and for quick jobs my dyson v8s are still useful, but can no longer vacuum for 10-15 minutes without the constant stopping from overheatingVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fantastic for bare floors

Won't hold a charge...
