Sierra FX offers a pair of action packed strategy titles in this boxed set of SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) games. Inspired by the ex-Los Angeles Police Department Chief Daryl Gates who pioneered the concept of SWAT teams in the 1960s and lends his expertise as technical advisor on the Police Quest series, Police Quest: SWAT Force takes the player through the rigors of training as a new SWAT recruit to the eventual confrontation with terrorist groups.<br><br>The package contains the two complete original SWAT games Police Quest: SWAT and Police Quest: SWAT 2. In the former, you'll learn specific SWAT entry techniques and hand signals, handle advanced weaponry such as H & K MP5s and be introduced to SWAT tactics and training. The game also includes live action video and cinematography sequences.<br><br>In Police Quest: SWAT 2 which offers multi-player action for up to four players, there are a total of 30 missions including both SWAT and terrorist missions (15 of each). The game contains in-game hints from Daryl Gates and a large arsenal complete with flashbangs, hand grenades, entry explosives, MP5 submachine guns and hooligan tools. Also featured are K-9 units, armored vehicles, snipers, helicopters and more. Additionally, SWAT 2 comes with a map editor allowing players to design their own scenarios.
