This fully computerized telescope features a sleek and ergonomic design, allowing you to comfortably lift and move it. Its heavy-duty steel tripod mount is easy to attach and includes an accessory tray. Boasting Schmidt-Cassegrain optical design, the telescope achieves a 280mm aperture with a 2800mm focal length. It utilizes a car battery adapter to achieve a 661x highest useful magnification. The Starbright XLT optical coating is phenomenal. The periodic error correction is permanently programmable as it utilizes Altazimuth, EQ North and EQ South tracking modes. The telescope also features a double line, 16 character Liquid Crystal Display, as well as 19 fiber optic back-lit LED buttons. Great scope.....
This is a very good telescope. It gives many options for viewing everything from planets to deep space objects, along with photography on both a camera or a phone with optional mounts. The only drawback I can see is the weight of the scope/mount. You need to be careful when setting up on tripod, but after that it seems really solid. Alignment with the Star Align System is automatic. Just mount it where the alignment scope goes and turn it on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
