Ex-professional racer turned vigilante Jade Champion, killed by crime boss Antonio Malochio in 1997's award-winning Interstate '76, returns for a crucial mission in the official add-on Interstate '76 Nitro Pack. The prequel-like mission takes place days before she was murdered in the original game. Also on hand are pals Skeeter and Taurus, vigilantes with attitude, as you tackle 20 new single-player missions with totally new and enhanced voiceovers.<br><br>The Interstate '76 Nitro Pack features a training mission and auto-vigilante action divided in two sections: multi-melee and instant melee. In the former, you can host or join a battle, race or session of capture-the-flag through a LAN connection, the Internet, modem or link cable. Options include up to eight players in combat mode, two, three or four-teams in capture-the-flag and simple racing games. Instant melee offers a variety of combat settings against computer-controlled auto-villains. Multiplayer action includes 30 new missions, advanced host options, new cars and additional weapons.<br><br>In addition to the new missions with Jade Champion, you can assume the role of poet Taurus (not possible in the original game) as you fight against Creeper to prevent mass destruction, escort supply caravans and destroy fuel dumps. As Skeeter, you watch the backs of your companions Taurus and Jade while kicking serious Creeper butt.
