Biohazard: Code Veronica in 2016
BE AWARE: This is a JAPANESE release, thus uses the NTSC-J standard. That means you will need a NTSC-J Dreamcast, a modified NTSC-U or PAL Dreamcast, or a bootloader disc such as Utopia. The spoken language of the game is English, however Japanese subtitles are displayed whenever English narration, voice acting, or text is being shown. The main menu is also in English, as is the pause/options menu in game. The inventory and all files/documents found in game will be in Japanese. This is an amazing game, and one of the best entries in the Biohazard series. If you have a Dreamcast collection, this game or it's English counterpart Resident Evil: Code Veronica NEED to be in it. This particular version of the game comes in a plastic slipcover featuring the same color and design on the back of the main character's in-game clothing. The slipcover is also very simplistic, with no markings besides the title, the design, and a Capcom logo on front. On back is a brief summary detailing events prior to the events of this game. Inside is a 2 CD jewel case with artwork reminiscent of the main menu art (Same art used for the Code Veronica X NTSC-U release). Inside the jewelcase are two discs, both required to fully play the game (after an important plot point the game discs must be swapped). The game manual is in full color with Japanese text , detailing safety warnings and gameplay elements to be aware of. Originally the game also came with a registration card printed in Japanese, and a flyer for the DreamBank system, a rewards program in Japan for purchasing new Dreamcast games. Do yourself a favor. If you love Resident Evil, buy this. It's a piece of Resident Evil history. A game exclusive to a Sega console (until its X re release).If you love Dreamcast, buy it. If you love imports, you probablly already own it.
